Analyze set simplifies the computation of various statistics to test for linkage and/or linkage disequilibrium between a disease locus and a series of marker loci in a 2-point fashion. It is necessary for the user to have his favorite version of MLINK, UNKNOWN, and LSP from the LINKAGE package (Lathrop et al, 1984) or FASTLINK (Cottingham et al, 1993) (installed on the machine for these programs to work. This collection of programs simplifies the setup and analysis of human pedigree data, and outputs the results of linkage analysis, sibpair analysis, haplotype relative risk analysis, TDT analysis, and some other variations on the above themes in a detailed form, and a summary table, including some simple multilocus disequilibrium and linkage based statistics.
